Assignment:

  • User RStudio to generate advanced graphs (using the ggplog2 package) using the dataset below.
  • Replace each categorical placeholder with appropriate categorical data fields.
  • Replace each continuous placeholder with appropriate continuous data fields.
  • Use the video above as an introduction to this assignment. Note: We have already had our residency weekend, so you can ignore the comment about residency being next week.
  • Both a screen shot and an explanation is required for each answer. Thus, you must write an answer to the question: What story is presented in this visualization? Copy all screen shots into one Word document (other word processors are fine to use but save it in MS Word format) and answer the question after each screen shot. Your answer should contain five to eight observations about the data. Your screen shots must show the full RStudio window with proof that your command ran successfully and contain the correct answer to the question. Circle the command and result in the console window of the screen shot if you have multiple commands showing in the screen shot.
  • Remember to tell RStudio which fields are factors.
  • Your cover page should contain the following: Title, Student’s name, University’s name, Course name, Course number, Professor’s name, and Date.
  • Submit your assignment on or before the due date.
