One of the professional journals where I would present my project in the form of an article is AJIC: American Journal of Infection Control. Since my topic on use of hand hygiene monitoring badges to improve hand hygiene compliance in the organization deals with infection control in the organization, I feel that this journal would be most appropriate to publish my article. The overall goal of improving hand hygiene compliance in the hospital is to reduce hospital-acquired infections. According to McCalla, Reilly, Thomas, and Mc. Spedon-Rai (2017), disseminating significant results can improve the health of patients and have a significant impact on the lives of patients across the nations and internationally through translation of research into clinical practice. The AJIC is a journal has over 15,000 members and various direct infection prevention programs that improve the patient safety in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) hosts annual conferences that include hand hygiene compliance improvement conferences for healthcare professionals. I would love to present my project on the use of hand hygiene monitors to improve hand hygiene compliance and decrease the rates of hospital-acquired infections at that conference. Upon contacting the organization, I was notified that I would have to submit my project to the approval board at the APIC, and then a special committee will review my work and make a decision on whether or not I can be a guest speaker at the next conference. It was fascinating to learn about various methods of dissemination of the results of the studies that healthcare professionals and researchers conduct.

Variety of methods are available for the broadcasting research findings, the most common are publications in biomedical journals and presentations at professional meetings or conferences. These meetings are often attended by leaders in the field, who are more likely to be early adopters of research into practice.
For research results to reach the widest possible audience and be available to practitioners not just today but permanently, they must be published in a journal. The American Journal of Nursing is the oldest and most honored broad-based nursing journal in the world. Peer reviewed and evidence-based, and it is considered the profession’s best journal. AJN welcomes proposals of evidence- based clinical application papers, descriptions of best clinical practices and original research and ranks twenty-third among the 116 nursing journals. Publishing a journal in AJN will give extended reach to the topic and the research in the nursing community.(AJN 2018).
A conference I would like to present my research paper is 21st Global Nursing Education Conference in 2019 at Orlando, USA with a theme “Current Challenges and Innovations in Nursing Education”. This conference brings together individuals who have an interest in Nursing Education from practice, development and research. This will be a great opportunity to present the newly developed protocols for CAUTI prevention. Best platform to share knowledge, achievement and excel in relationships that broadcast a greater Nursing line. (CSE 2018)

Opted Professional Journal
I might choose any popular magazine for publishing my research. For instance” “Nursing Research and Practice” journal. This journal is majority for publishing the nursing practices and researches. In addition, this journal has open access, which will make the project available to a wide range of populace. (Nursing Research and Practice, n.d.)
The reason to select a magazine for publishing my research is that the majority of the entire columns of magazines are read by people. The reason for it is that magazines are not too much large in pages as well as people also give special time to read the magazines. However, people do not read newspapers or books completely. The reason for it is the large size of newspapers and books. Therefore, I consider peer-reviewed and open-source magazine as best choice to publish my research project.
Opted Healthcare Conference
I might present my project in the “World Nursing and Health Care Conference” that is being organized in Stockholm, Sweden by “Thinkers hub”, within 12 to 14 June of year 2017. I might opt for this conference because of two major reasons. Initially, it is being organized in the universal venues to construct a collective association among the dissimilar entities to emphasize and work for the mutual target of making a sustainable globe. Secondly. Stockholm is universally identified as one among the most inventive and knowledge-intensive areas in universe and a top provider of products and solutions in vital segments like ICT, Cleantech, and Life Science. Consequently, this conference will be attended by great leaders, scientists, health care specialists, and number of other popular and successful universal entities. This conference will give me a great chance to present my project at the universal scale and in front of the experts. (Hub, n.d.)

Recently there has been a great movement in involving nurses in decision-making in various healthcare organizations that has prompted employers to seek a larger percentage of employees who have furthered their education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree ( ). As healthcare evolves to meet changing market dynamics, evidence-based practice in nursing, which is taught in baccalaureate programs, has become a key component in improving patient care and outcomes. Therefore, all BSN-trained nurses have a great amount of benefits, such as enhanced training and skill development in critical thinking, leadership and evidence-based practice. There is also a great competition among healthcare organizations to seek Magnet or Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center to distinguish themselves from the competition. This designation helps organizations demonstrate a level of commitment to the professional practice of nursing and standards that improve nurse satisfaction and enhance business growth. These organizations include in their standards that evidence-based practice in nursing is essential to the organization. Hospitals increasingly are asking nursing staff to incorporate innovations that improve healthcare operations. In addition, hospitals that employ students pursuing masters’ and doctoral degrees in nursing provide opportunities to complete research-based coursework that can aid with hospital operations. Some hospitals in critical areas offer financial incentives to nurses who advance their education and perform research and community service. Two ways that I will continue to integrate evidence into practice is by reading various scholarly journals that include new research studies that can lead to significant quality improvement in my organization. Attending conferences on evidence-based practices in hospitals will be another way to integrate evidence into practice. During individual performance evaluations, I can ask the employees for suggestions on various practices that they would like to see changed or improved in the facility.According to Delgado and Mitchell (2016), an effective leader can engage others through teamwork, personal influence, and management of performance expectations. I would find various ways to engage my coworkers into making suggestions and looking for ways to improve the delivery of patient care with use of evidence-based research.
One of the challenges that I can predict is the lack of engagement from my coworkers. As a nursing leader I will create a performance improvement plan to give the staff members a defined goal and action plan, as well as, to help the individual succeed with establishing consequences for failure to meet and sustain the improved performance (Bainbridge, 2016). These performance improvement plans will provide the team members with opportunities to succeed in translating research into practice. I will use these plans to recognize specific skills in employees to assign them particular tasks. I feel that his BSN program provided me various competencies and skills that will allow me to engage others and translate research into practice to improve the delivery of patient care.

Path # 1:
Benefits
Does do cause a better patient outcomes, an increased patient safety hence an improved quality of life. EBP usually does do strives to standardizing practices that does do deliver more outcomes hence treatments with improved chances of success but it does do lies in research that usually provides a reliable information that is about treatments. EBP also decreased health care costs plus does do reduce the medical complications that is across a variety of clinical specialties.
Barriers
evidence based practice u is usually time consuming, usually there is no enough evidence to supporting the change, there is a problem of the research language, there is lack of resources that is to implementation, the clinical research usually does not give certainty when required, usually some of the given findings that is of clinical research usually cannot be applied to each patients, plus evidence-based practice does do remove responsibility that is for decision making that is from usually the individual nurses.
