But not alone: I want you to jump into a significant object in your life, a photograph, painting, video of your choice and shift some of the literary elements around. Time: If you choose to work with time, you might consider the following: creating a scene where you are a character, depicting what happened before or after the story/film started or ended, putting part of a character’s story in a different time period, or giving an account of the story through the eyes of a character’s descendant .
Character: A couple of options concerning character include the following: tell part of the story from the point of view of an undeveloped character. Create a new character that will give a different perspective on an existing character.
