Instructions
Create a representation of your selected organization’s basic floor plan demonstrating the current security countermeasures. You can create a basic floor plan using the shapes and clipart available in Microsoft® Word.
Access these functions in Microsoft® Word by going to the Insert tab and selecting the Shapes dropdown menu. For earlier versions of Microsoft® Word, click the View menu, select Toolbars, and enable the Drawing Toolbar.
Use straight lines to form interior and exterior walls and adjust their size until they resemble the building that houses the organization. Add different shapes for specific security countermeasures and define the countermeasures in a symbol key. You may also add bubble arrows for more detail as indicated in the example below. You do not need to use the same symbols as in the example.
